2-1 SOPRASMART ISO HD HP SANDED is a high-performance, factory-laminated base sheet panel designed for use in roofing systems. It combines a durable SBS-modified bitumen membrane with a high-density polyisocyanurate insulation board, making it ideal for waterproofing and thermal insulation in commercial and industrial flat roofing applications.
System Components:
This product is a composite system consisting of two primary components:
1. SBS-Modified Bitumen Membrane – Reinforced with a composite mat and finished with a sanded surface.
2. High-Density Polyisocyanurate Insulation Panel (SOPRA-ISO PLUS HD) – Provides thermal resistance and compressive strength.
The system also includes the following accessories and complementary products:
- DUOTACK Adhesive – For adhered installation.
- Hot Bitumen (SEBS or oxidized) – For mop-applied installation.
- SOPREMA Screws and Plates – For mechanical fastening.
- SOPRALAP STICK Membrane – For sealing end laps.
- ELASTOCOL STICK Primer – Required before applying SOPRALAP STICK.
Applications:
This material is used as a base sheet in multi-layer SBS-modified bitumen roofing systems. It is suitable for new construction and re-roofing projects on commercial and industrial buildings. It can be installed over steel decks and other compatible substrates.

- Installation Methods:
- *Hot Bitumen Application:* Applied using SEBS or oxidized bitumen with a mop.
- *Adhesive Application:* Installed using DUOTACK adhesive.
- *Mechanical Fastening:* Fastened with SOPREMA screws and plates according to specified fastening patterns.
- Lap Sealing:
- Side laps feature a DUO SELVEDGE: the first portion is self-adhered, and the second portion is sealed using a hot-air welder.
- End laps must be aligned and covered with SOPRALAP STICK membrane, applied over a surface pre-coated with ELASTOCOL STICK primer.
