ALSAN FLOOR QUARTZ is not a standalone system but is used in conjunction with ALSAN liquid-applied resins. The typical system includes:
- Base Coat: ALSAN resin (specific type depends on the system design, such as ALSAN RS or ALSAN FLOOR resins).
- Decorative Aggregate Layer: ALSAN FLOOR QUARTZ broadcast into the wet base coat.
- Top Coat: A clear ALSAN top coat resin is applied over the cured aggregate layer to seal and protect the surface.

Application Details:
- Broadcast Method: ALSAN FLOOR QUARTZ is broadcast either randomly or at full saturation into the wet ALSAN resin layer.
- Curing and Finishing: Once the resin cures, excess aggregate is removed using a broom, vacuum, or sandblaster. A clear ALSAN top coat is then applied to lock in the aggregates and provide a smooth, durable finish.
- Coverage: One 50 lb (22.68 kg) box covers approximately 25 to 50 ft² (2.3 to 4.6 m²), depending on the desired texture and broadcast density.
- Aggregate Size: 40 mesh
