Material Use:
ALSAN RS 260 LO FIELD is a high-performance, low-odor, rapid-setting liquid waterproofing membrane based on polymethacrylate (PMA) resin. It is designed for use in roofing, balconies, plaza decks, fountains, and pond applications where a durable, flexible, and monolithic waterproofing system is required. The product is catalyzed with ALSAN RS CATALYST POWDER and reinforced with ALSAN RS FLEECE to form a seamless, reinforced membrane.
System Components:
The ALSAN RS 260 LO FIELD system consists of the following components:
- Primer: ALSAN RS 222 PRIMER or ALSAN RS 276 PRIMER, selected based on substrate type.
- Base Coat: ALSAN RS 260 LO FIELD catalyzed with ALSAN RS CATALYST POWDER.
- Reinforcement: ALSAN RS FLEECE embedded into the wet base coat.
- Top Coat: A second application of ALSAN RS 260 LO FIELD over the fleece-reinforced base layer.

Application Details:
- Surface Preparation: Substrates must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Priming is typically required.
- Mixing: Mix resin thoroughly for 4 minutes before use. Add ALSAN RS CATALYST POWDER based on ambient temperature (2–6% by weight) and mix for an additional 2–3 minutes.
- Application Method: Apply with a roller or brush. Embed ALSAN RS FLEECE into the wet base coat, then apply a top coat of catalyzed resin.
- Pot Life: 10–15 minutes depending on temperature.
- Rain-Proof Time: 30–60 minutes.
- Set Time / Walkable / Next Layer: 1–2 hours.
- Full Cure Time: 4–7 hours depending on ambient conditions.

- ALSAN RS 260 LO FIELD is available in Pebble Grey and Bright White. Bright White offers high solar reflectance (SRI 105 initially) and is CRRC-rated.
- The product must be stored indoors at 13 °C to 27 °C (55 °F to 80 °F) and has a shelf life of 12 months.
- ALSAN RS 260 LO FIELD is part of a complete PMA-based waterproofing system and must be used with compatible primers, catalyst, and fleece reinforcement for optimal performance.
- The product exhibits excellent flexibility, elongation, and crack-bridging capabilities, even at low temperatures (-36.1 °C / -33 °F).
