ALSAN RS CLEANER is a clear solvent specifically formulated for use in the installation and maintenance of SOPREMA ALSAN RS systems. It serves multiple purposes, including surface preparation, tool and equipment cleaning, and reactivation of cured ALSAN RS surfaces prior to the application of additional layers.

ALSAN RS CLEANER is not a standalone waterproofing or coating product but is an essential complementary component within the ALSAN RS system. It is used in conjunction with ALSAN RS membranes, primers, base coats, and topcoats to ensure proper adhesion and system performance.

ALSAN RS CLEANER is suitable for use in a wide range of construction and waterproofing applications, including:

- Roofs

- Flooring systems

- Parking decks

- Balconies and plaza decks

- Fountains and ponds

- Civil engineering structures

ALSAN RS CLEANER is applied using clean cloths or rags to clean plastic and metal surfaces before the application of ALSAN RS membranes. It is also used to clean cured ALSAN RS surfaces that have been exposed to the elements for more than 12 hours or have become contaminated. After application, the cleaner must be allowed to evaporate completely (approximately 15 minutes) before proceeding with the next layer of the ALSAN RS system. This ensures optimal adhesion and performance of subsequent layers.

- ALSAN RS CLEANER is a flammable solvent and must be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from ignition sources.

- It should not be stored with incompatible materials, and smoking is strictly prohibited during use.

- Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and eye protection should be worn during application to avoid skin and eye contact.

- The product is packaged in 18.9 L (5.0 US gallon) containers.

- ALSAN RS CLEANER is a necessary component for maintaining the integrity of the ALSAN RS system, especially when re-coating or repairing previously cured surfaces.

- This product does not have a defined pot life or curing time, as it is a solvent and not a reactive material. However, it requires approximately 15 minutes to evaporate before the next product layer can be applied.

- ALSAN RS CLEANER is not UV stable or resistant, as it is not intended to be exposed or used as a coating.
