Material Use:
ALSAN ACCELERATOR is a liquid additive specifically designed to accelerate the drying time of ALSAN TRAFIK HP 520, a polyurethane membrane used in traffic coating systems. It is used exclusively in conjunction with ALSAN TRAFIK HP 520 and is not compatible with any other ALSAN products. The primary function of ALSAN ACCELERATOR is to reduce the curing time of the base coat in vehicular and pedestrian traffic waterproofing systems.

Application Details:

For every pallet of ALSAN TRAFIK HP 520 (36 x 19 L cans), two boxes of ALSAN ACCELERATOR (18 cans per box) are required. The accelerator is mixed directly into the ALSAN TRAFIK HP 520 base coat prior to application to reduce drying time.
Special Notes:
- Compatibility: ALSAN ACCELERATOR must only be used with ALSAN TRAFIK HP 520 and is not compatible with any other ALSAN products.
- Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry, and ventilated area away from heat and oxidizing agents. Do not expose to direct sunlight or temperatures above 25°C. Keep from freezing.
- Shelf Life: 12 months in original, unopened containers.
- Handling Precautions: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep away from open flames and ignition sources. Uncured product is hazardous and must be disposed of according to local regulations.
- Physical Properties: Clear yellow liquid with a viscosity of 30–60 cP at 25°C and a specific gravity of 1.030–1.060 kg/L. Solidifies below 0°C.
Limitations and Environmental Conditions:
- Temperature Range for Storage: Do not store above 25°C or below freezing.
- UV Stability: Not applicable to ALSAN ACCELERATOR directly, but the final system's UV resistance depends on the top coat used in the ALSAN TRAFIK HP system.
- Pot Life, Cure Time, and Application Thickness: These are determined by the ALSAN TRAFIK HP 520 base coat and the overall system, which are not detailed in this TDS. ALSAN ACCELERATOR reduces the drying time of ALSAN TRAFIK HP 520 but does not alter its application thickness or coverage.
