Description
CCS Grout, High Temperature is a two-component structural epoxy adhesive formulated for pressure injection grouting. It is especially suited for high-temperature environments with a heat deflection temperature of 165°F. The material is used for structural repairs of cracks and delaminations in concrete, masonry, stone, and sealed wood, void filling in porous concrete, and adhesive bonding of steel plates, bolts, dowels, and rebar, especially where elevated service temperatures are expected.
The system comprises Part A (epoxy resin) and Part B (epoxy hardener), mixed in a 2:1 ratio by volume. The components have contrasting colors (clear amber and dark purple) for assurance of thorough mixing. It is designed to be used with automatic meter, mix, and dispense pressure injection equipment.
This material is intended for:
· Pressure injection repair of structural cracks
· Bonding steel reinforcement to concrete
· Anchoring hardware into concrete, masonry, or rock
· High-temperature service environments
· Minimum substrate temperature during installation: 50°F
· Minimum substrate temperature for curing: 40°F
· Maximum thickness without aggregates: 1/4" (for thicker applications, pre-placed aggregate is recommended to control exotherm)
· Pot life (gel time): 16 minutes for 100 g mix at 73°F
· Cure schedule: 7 days at ambient temperature (73°F ±4°F)
· Surface preparation: Substrates must be clean and free of bond-inhibiting substances, meeting ASTM D 4259 or ACI 503R standards.
· Viscosity: Mixed material ~600 cps
· Density: ~9.3 lb/gal
· This product does not require elevated temperature post-curing to develop its heat resistance.
· It bonds to dry, damp, and wet substrates (excluding free-standing water).
· Contains no VOC solvents and is considered environmentally safe.
· Not UV stable – not intended for exposed exterior use unless covered.
· Excellent chemical resistance, though limited against hydrocarbon solvents.
· Shelf life: Minimum 3 years when stored between 60–90°F in original, unopened containers.
· Coverage is not specified in ft²/gal; application is governed more by volume fill in structural cavities and cracks.
