COLPLY TRAFFIC CAP FLEX and its fire-resistant variant, COLPLY TRAFFIC CAP FR FLEX, are high-performance SBS-modified bitumen cap sheet membranes designed for use in roofing and waterproofing systems. These membranes are specifically engineered to provide superior flexibility at low temperatures, making them ideal for cold-weather installations. They serve as the final protective layer in multi-ply roofing assemblies, offering enhanced durability, puncture resistance, and UV protection due to their granulated surface.

COLPLY TRAFFIC CAP FLEX is typically used as the cap sheet in a multi-layer SBS-modified bitumen roofing system. It is installed over a compatible base sheet or interply membrane using either cold adhesive or SEBS hot bitumen (SOPRASPHALTE M). The system may include:

- Base Sheet: SBS-modified bitumen base membrane (not specified in this TDS but typically SOPREMA base sheets are used).

- Adhesive Options: Cold adhesive applied with a notched squeegee or SEBS hot bitumen (SOPRASPHALTE M) applied with a mop.

- Storage: Rolls must be stored upright with the selvedge side on top. If stored outdoors, they must be covered with an opaque protective cover.

- Puncture Resistance: Passes standard puncture resistance tests.

- Low Temperature Flexibility: Maintains flexibility down to -27°C (-17°F); after UV weathering, flexibility is maintained down to -12°C (10°F).

- Dimensional Stability: ±0.2% in both machine and cross directions.

- Granule Embedment: Less than 2.0 g (0.07 oz), indicating strong granule adhesion.
