Poly-Caulk^® JS-60 is a self-leveling, 100% solid, two-component modified polyurea-based elastomeric joint sealant. Poly-Caulk^® JS-60 is a flexible material that is designed for 25% movement of an installed joint width.

Poly-Caulk JS-60 – Self-Leveling Joint Sealant

 Poly-Caulk JS-60 is a two-component, 100% solids, modified polyurea-based elastomeric joint sealant. It is designed specifically for sealing cracks, contraction joints, and control joints on both new and aged horizontal concrete surfaces. The product is highly flexible, accommodating up to 25% joint movement, and is ideal for rapid-setting applications requiring minimal downtime.

 Poly-Caulk JS-60 is a dual-component system mixed in a 1:1 ratio by volume (Side-A and Side-B). It is available in 600 ml cartridges (dual tube format) or 10-gallon kits (two 5-gallon pails). No primer is mentioned or required for standard concrete applications. There are no additional topcoat or basecoat components required in the JS-60 system.

 This product is recommended for industrial floors, sidewalks, parking decks, bridge and balcony decks, roofing surfaces, and water/wastewater treatment facilities. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, though discoloration may occur outdoors due to UV exposure.

·       Installation Temperature: Minimum 70°F (21°C)

·       Exposure Temperature Range: -40°F to 200°F (-40°C to 93.3°C)

·       Pot Life: 3–4 minutes

·       Gel Time: 2–3 minutes

·       Tack-Free Time: Less than 5 minutes

·       Foot Traffic Ready: 2 hours

·       Curing Notes: For optimal adhesion, joint sidewalls must be cleaned using a diamond blade saw and vacuumed. Sealant depth should be half the width and must not exceed 1 inch.

·       UV Stability: Poly-Caulk JS-60 is aromatic and may discolor with UV exposure, although physical properties are unaffected.

·       Limitations: Not recommended for joints with expected significant slab movement, or under non-breathing or polymer flooring systems.

·       Thickness Guidelines: Should not exceed 1 inch in depth.

·       Coverage (Linear Feet per Gallon): Varies by joint dimensions. For example, 1/2" x 1/2" joints yield approx. 69 ft/gal.

·       Storage Conditions: 60–95°F (15–35°C); one-year shelf life in original sealed containers.

·       Safety: Contains isocyanates and curatives. Use appropriate PPE (safety glasses, respirator, gloves, overalls, boots) and avoid open flames.
