Poly-I-Gard™ 295/295OF  TEXTURED is a two component, integrally textured, fast setting, rapid curing and solvent free, high solids, hybrid aliphatic polyurea elastomeric membrane. Poly-I-Gard™ 295/295OF   TEXTURED can be applied to properly prepared interior or exterior concrete, plywood and metal surfaces. It is suitable for single or multiple applications, in temperatures as low as 20°F (-6.67 C) and is insensitive to moisture. Polycoat Products manufactures products in different VOC’s ranging from 100 to 340 gms/liter to comply with VOC requirements in various regions. Make sure to use the correct grade of product which complies with VOC regulations/requirements applicable as per federal, state, statutory, counties, cities and local bodies at the place of installation.

 Poly-I-Gard 295/295OF TEXTURED is a hybrid, Aliphatic, Polyurea Waterproofing Membrane Topcoat. It is designed as a high-performance, elastomeric topcoat for waterproofing systems. It is applicable to interior and exterior concrete, plywood, and metal surfaces and provides a durable, UV-stable, seamless surface suitable for both pedestrian and vehicular traffic areas.

·       Base Coats: Requires application over properly prepared substrates; may include a base coat such as Polycoat waterproofing systems depending on system design.

·       Primer: For recoating after more than 24 hours, Polyprime U must be used to ensure adhesion.

·       Topcoat: Poly-I-Gard 295/295OF TEXTURED functions as the final coat in the system.

·       Do Not Use: Polyglaze Hardener should not be used with this product.

·       Pedestrian and vehicular decks

·       Mechanical room floors

·       Kennels

·       Suitable for use in USDA-regulated facilities

·       Application Tools: 1/8” notched squeegee or trowel followed by 3/8”–1/2” nap phenolic roller for backrolling.

·       Application Thickness: Up to 20 mils (wet film) in a single coat.

·       Coverage Rate: Approx. 78 sq.ft./gallon.

·       Recoat Window: Within 8–12 hours; otherwise, surface must be reprimed.

·       Cure Time at 75°F/50% RH:

o   Tack free in 2–4 hours

o   Light pedestrian traffic: after 16 hours

o   Heavy pedestrian or vehicular traffic: after 60 hours

·       Pot Life: 30 ± 10 minutes

·       Mix Ratio: 10A : 1B by volume

·       Environmental Tolerance: Can be applied at temperatures as low as 20°F (-6.67°C).

·       Humidity Consideration: Material is moisture-insensitive but is sensitive to heat and humidity during cure.

·       UV Resistance: Fully UV Stable – no cracking or damage after 2000 hours exposure in Q Panel Weather O-Meter testing.

·       VOC Content:

o   Poly-I-Gard 295: <15 g/L

o   Poly-I-Gard 295OF: <60 g/L

·       Material Characteristics: High tensile strength (~3200 psi), 400% elongation, 85 Shore A hardness, and high tear resistance.

·       Storage: 1-year shelf life in sealed containers at 60–95°F (15–35°C).

·       Limitations: Not suitable over split slabs, buried membranes, sandwich slabs with insulation, unvented metal pans, magnesite, or non-structural lightweight concrete. Moisture-vapor transmission test is required for on-grade slabs. Not intended for asphalt unless authorized by the manufacturer.
