Description
Polyeuro® 1050H has NSF-61 approval for direct contact with potable water, and is recommended for use as a coating or lining on suitably primed carbon steel, non-ferrous metal and concrete. Polyeuro® 1050H offers a tack-free time of less than five minutes and exhibits 20-30% elongation upon curing with 65 Shore D hardness.
Size: 160-gallon kit
Material Use
Polyeuro 1050H – Polyurea Polyurethane Copolymer Protective Coating
Polyeuro 1050H is a high-performance, 100% solids, fast-curing polyurea-based protective coating designed for use on properly primed carbon steel, non-ferrous metal, and concrete surfaces. It is NSF-61 approved, allowing for direct contact with potable water, and is ideal for applications requiring chemical, abrasion, and impact resistance.
System Components
· Primer for Concrete and Carbon Steel: Polyprime 3042
· Base & Finish Coat: Polyeuro 1050H (single coat or multi-layered application)
This system is suitable for a variety of substrates including concrete, steel, aluminum, wood, and fiberglass, with proper surface preparation and substrate-specific primers as necessary.
Applications
Used in infrastructure and industrial environments including:
· Water and wastewater treatment facilities
· Water storage tanks
· Secondary containment areas
· Petrochemical and pulp & paper plants
· Mining facilities, manholes, pipelines, canals, dams, and basins

· Film Thickness per Coat: 20–100 mils
· Coverage: ~1600 sqft per gallon at 1 mil; adjust proportionally to thickness
· Substrate Prep Standards: SSPC-SP10/NACE 2 for steel; ICRI CSP 3-5 for concrete
· UV Resistance: Not UV stable – may require a topcoat in exterior UV-exposed applications
· Service Temperature:
o Dry: up to 180°F (82°C)
o Immersion: up to 120°F (49°C)
Special Notes
· Polyeuro 1050H is highly moisture-sensitive once opened; Side-B should be used within 1–2 days
· The material should not be diluted and must be applied in accordance with equipment specs for effective mixing and cure
· Not recommended for prolonged exposure to concentrated acids
· Surface adhesion is critically dependent on proper preparation; adhesion testing is advised for unusual substrates
· Storage temperature must remain between 60–95°F and avoid freezing
· This is a professional-use product and best applied by trained installers
