Description
Polyeuro® MH-752 is a fast setting, rapid curing, aromatic, two component, hybrid-polyurea/polyurethane spray designed to be applied over EPS, wood and many other surfaces.
Material Use:
Polyeuro MH-752 – Two Component Aromatic Hybrid Polyurethane/Polyurea Protective Coating
Polyeuro MH-752 is designed as a fast-setting, rapid-curing protective coating primarily for use over EPS foam, wood, and other substrates. It is ideal for providing a rigid, shell-like surface that resists impact and abrasion. It is well-suited for applications where quick turnaround and durable surface reinforcement are critical.
System Components:
· Side-A and Side-B (mixed in a 1:1 volume ratio)
· Compatible Topcoat (optional for UV stability): Aliphatic polyurethane/polyurea coating, to be applied within 12 hours
· Repair Material (for concrete, wood): Polycoat PC-260 or Polyprime 21 + sand
· Primers: Required on metal (steel, aluminum, stainless), old concrete, or certain plastics. Specific primer recommendations must be confirmed with Polycoat.
Applications:
· Architectural shapes
· Props and decorations
· Dock flotation devices
· Food processing areas
· Wood crates and cabinets
· Speaker enclosures
· Steel coatings
Application Details:
· Mix Ratio: 1A:1B by volume
· Pot Life: 2–4 seconds @ 150°F (65.5°C), 50% RH
· Tack-Free Time: 60–120 seconds (substrate and thickness dependent)
· Recoat Window: 0–12 hours
· Application Equipment: Plural-component heated high-pressure 1:1 spray (e.g., Graco Reactor)
· Spray Temperature: >150°F (65.5°C); both components preconditioned to 80–90°F
· Spray Pressure: Minimum 2000 psi
· Substrate Temperature: At least 5°F above dew point
· Viscosity: Side-A 90 ± 20 cps, Side-B 160 ± 20 cps
· Coverage: 1 mil = 1 gal per 1600 ft²; build to desired thickness
· Hardness: 75 ± 5 Shore D
· Tensile Strength: 3700 psi
· Elongation: 30%
· Tear Strength: 450 pli
· Service Temperature Range (Dry): -20°F to 250°F (-29°C to 121°C)
Special Notes:
· UV Stability: Aromatic formulation – not UV stable; yellows/dulls with exposure. Use aliphatic topcoat for UV resistance.
· VOC: Zero VOC formulation
· Environmental Limits:
o Storage: 60–95°F (15–35°C); avoid freezing
o Shelf Life: 12 months in sealed containers
· Surface Prep:
o Concrete must cure 28 days; prep to CSP 3–5 profile
o Wood must be sanded and dry; knots filled
o Steel: SSPC-SP10/NACE 2 blast profile (3–4 mils)
o Do not use solvent primers on polystyrene
o Adhesion tests recommended for aluminum, stainless, and cast iron
· Limitations: Not to be diluted; requires desiccant fittings during use; professional use only
