Super Save-Lite® Alkyd Dry Fall is a modified alkyd, intense white paint for interior use. Overspray dries to a removable dust within eight feet @ 77°F (25°C) and 50% relative humidity.

Super Save-Lite® Alkyd Dryfall is a high-reflectance, flat-finish, modified alkyd coating designed for interior use in commercial, industrial, and institutional environments. It is specifically formulated for spray application where overspray is a concern, as it dries to a removable dust within eight feet under standard conditions. This product is ideal for use in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, gymnasiums, and other large interior spaces where high ceilings and structural elements require coating.

Super Save-Lite® Alkyd Dryfall is used as a topcoat in a multi-component system. The system typically includes a substrate-specific primer followed by one or two coats of the Dryfall topcoat. The following primers are recommended based on substrate type:

- Steel: Pro Industrial Pro-Cryl Primer or Kem Bond HS

- Aluminum & Galvanized Metal: DTM Wash Primer

- Concrete Block (CMU): Pro Industrial Heavy Duty Block Filler or Loxon Acrylic Block Surfacer

- Concrete, Masonry, Plaster: Loxon Concrete & Masonry Primer

- Drywall: ProMar 200 Zero VOC Primer

- Wood (Interior): Premium Wall & Wood Primer

This product is suitable for use on properly prepared structural steel, galvanized metal, drywall, plaster, concrete, masonry, and wood. It is commonly applied in interior environments such as warehouses, textile mills, manufacturing plants, gymnasiums, and other commercial or institutional buildings where high light reflectance and cleanability are desired.

- Application Method: Airless or conventional spray only. Brush and roller application are not recommended.

- Recommended Wet Film Thickness: 6.0–6.5 mils

- Recommended Dry Film Thickness: 3.3–3.5 mils

- Coverage: 252–267 sq. ft. per gallon at recommended thickness; theoretical coverage is 882 sq. ft. per gallon at 1 mil dry.

- Dry Time @ 77°F (25°C), 50% RH:

- To touch: 15 minutes

- To recoat: 2–6 hours (or after 18 hours)

- Full cure: 3 days

- Dry fall-out: within 8 feet

- Pot Life: Not applicable (single-component product)

- Temperature Range for Application: Minimum 50°F (10°C), maximum 100°F (37°C); surface, air, and material must be at least 5°F above dew point.

- Relative Humidity Limit: Maximum 85%

- Reducers:

- Below 100°F: VM&P Naphtha (R1K3)

- Above 100°F: Mineral Spirits (R1K4)

- Reduction up to 5% may be used as needed, except in restricted areas.

- Spray Equipment Settings:

- Airless: 2500 psi, 1/4" hose, 0.017–0.019" tip, 60 mesh filter

- Conventional: Binks 95 gun, 63C fluid nozzle, 63PB air nozzle, 60 psi atomization, 50 psi fluid pressure

- UV Resistance: Not UV stable; interior use only.

- VOC Content: 350 g/L (2.92 lbs/gal), compliant with OTC and CARB, but not with SCAQMD or LEED v4 VOC limits.

- Shelf Life: 12 months unopened.

- Flash Point: 76°F (PMCC)

- Light Reflectance: 83% (Brilliante White)

- Surface Preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Specific preparation standards (e.g., SSPC-SP1, SP2, SP6, SP13) apply depending on substrate. Priming is required for all substrates.

- Overspray Consideration: Overspray dries to dust within 8 feet under standard conditions. However, overspray may adhere to hot surfaces and should be removed immediately.

- Safety: Rags and waste soaked with this product may spontaneously combust. Dispose of properly in a sealed, water-filled metal container.

- Tinting: Tinting is possible with BAC or GIC colorants, but may affect dryfall characteristics. Always test color before use.
