Themecoat^® 105 is a waterborne UV-stable, aliphatic polyurethane topcoat/sealer coat. This waterborne coating has been specially formulated as a durable.

Themecoat 105 – Waterborne Aliphatic Urethane Polyurea Sealer Coat.

 Themecoat 105 is used as a UV-stable, abrasion-resistant, flexible topcoat for sealing wood and existing polyurethane or polyurea surfaces. It is ideal for both new applications and resealing tasks, offering excellent color retention, flexibility, and impact resistance.

 Themecoat 105 is a topcoat material that can be used in systems incorporating polyurethane or epoxy base membranes. It is applied as a final layer over these base coats once they are adequately cured:

·       Polyurethane base coat: Apply Themecoat 105 once the surface is walkable, ideally within 4 hours if covered and clean.

·       Epoxy base coat: Must be topcoated within 24 hours of initial application to ensure proper adhesion.

 Recommended for:

·       Concrete surfaces

·       Heavy pedestrian and vehicular traffic areas

·       Plywood

·       Resealing existing polyurethane/polyurea surfaces.

·       Application temperature range: 60–170°F (15.6–76.7°C). For conditions outside this range, consult the manufacturer.

·       Pot life: Not specified, but material is waterborne and must not be allowed to freeze.

·       Curing time: 24 hours for light foot traffic; 48 hours for heavy traffic.

·       Coverage: Approximately 520 ± 10 sq.ft. per gallon at 1 dry mil thickness.

·       Thickness guidance: Apply in layers allowing drying between coats. No maximum thickness stated, but minor thinning with purified water is allowed, which may increase drying time.

·       UV Stability: Fully UV-stable – suitable for outdoor exposure.

·       The product is not freeze/thaw stable—must be protected from freezing.

·       VOC-compliant: 0.375 lb/gal (45 g/L), meeting SCAQMD requirements.

·       Comes in gloss and matte finishes in clear, white, or black. Custom colors require a minimum order of 250 gallons.

·       Clean equipment immediately after use with soapy water.

·       Store indoors between 40–100°F (4.4–37.8°C). Do not store outside.

·       Contains isocyanates and solvent – follow SDS for safety protocols.
