Tremco PUMA Initiator +:A reactive catalyst in the form of a white powder used to cure all resins of Vulkem® EWS and TREMproof® PUMA
Tremco PUMA Filler Powder: A non-reactive, white, filler powder used to thicken Tremco PUMA WC.
Tremco PUMA Cleaner: A one-part MMA cleaner for all tools such as mixing paddles, squeegees, spiked rollers and trowels. Always use this cleaner for Tremco PUMA materials. Never use any kind of solvent to clean any of your tools as this will cause contamination and inhibit cure.
Material Use:
These accessories are part of the application and installation system for Tremco’s Vulkem® EWS and TREMproof® PUMA liquid-applied coating and waterproofing solutions. They include additives and tools to support proper curing, thickening, and cleaning during the installation of these polyurethane methacrylate (PUMA)-based systems.
System Components:
- Tremco PUMA Initiator+: A reactive white powder catalyst used to initiate curing of all Vulkem EWS and TREMproof PUMA resins.
- Tremco PUMA Filler Powder: A non-reactive white powder added to Tremco PUMA WC to increase viscosity.
- Tremco PUMA Polyethylene Fibers: Used to reinforce and thicken Tremco PUMA resins for added structure and body.
- Tremco PUMA Cleaner: A one-part methyl methacrylate (MMA) solvent specifically for cleaning tools such as squeegees, rollers, and trowels after application. Only this cleaner should be used to avoid contamination and curing issues.
Applications:
These accessories are strictly used within the Vulkem EWS and TREMproof PUMA system applications, which include vehicular traffic coatings, waterproofing membranes, and similar resin-based protective systems.
Application Details:
- Initiator+: Required for curing of resins; ensure proper dosage as per system instructions.
- Filler Powder and Polyethylene Fibers: Both serve to adjust viscosity or body of base or topcoats where needed (especially vertical or sloped surfaces).
- Cleaner: Must be used for all application tools. Do not use alternative solvents, as they may prevent the material from curing.
Special Notes:
- These accessories do not function independently; they are used in conjunction with the Tremco Vulkem EWS and TREMproof PUMA systems only.
- All materials are immediately available through Tremco sales representatives.

- Initiator+: 10-lb and 25-lb pails, or 25 x 75g pouch cases
- Filler Powder: 55-lb bags
- Polyethylene Fibers: 15-lb (6.8 kg) bags
- Cleaner: 6-gallon pails
