ConFlex 7% Siloxane Water Repellent (CF31T0007 Clear)

ConFlex 7% Siloxane Water Repellent is a siloxane-based penetrating water repellent specifically designed to weatherproof new and existing concrete and masonry structures. It offers a breathable, long-lasting barrier against moisture, airborne contaminants, freeze/thaw damage, salt, efflorescence, and acid rain. It is suitable for vertical and horizontal surfaces and is particularly beneficial in preventing moisture intrusion and deterioration of construction materials.

This is a standalone water repellent system and does not require base or top coats. However, surface repair with elastomeric sealants may be necessary for cracks and voids prior to application. It should not be topcoated with film-forming paints, stains, or sealers.

ConFlex is suitable for a wide variety of vertical and horizontal masonry and concrete surfaces including:

• Tilt-up and poured-in-place concrete walls
• Concrete blocks (split face, fluted, smooth)
• Brick (clay and cement)
• Stucco and mortar
• Stadium supports, bridges, bridge structures
• Parking garages, traffic sound barriers
• Driveways, sidewalks, and patios

Not recommended for:

• Asphalt surfaces
• Marble, limestone, or calcium carbonate-based substrates
• Immersion service or below-grade applications

Surface Preparation:

• All surfaces must be clean, dry, and cured (minimum 7 days at 75°F for new concrete).
• Pressure washing (min. 2100 psi) is advised for removing contaminants.
• Etching required for smooth, non-porous surfaces.
• Cracks and gaps must be repaired with elastomeric patch or sealant.
• Stripe coat corners and edges for uniform coverage.

Application Method:

• Apply using low-pressure airless or pump-up sprayer using the flood method.
• Apply from the bottom up for vertical surfaces and allow run-down of 8–10 inches.
• For horizontal surfaces, apply to allow a brief pond before absorption.
• Second coat, if needed, must be wet-on-wet to avoid adhesion failure.

Temperature & Conditions:

• Apply between 50°F and 90°F (10°C to 32°C).
• Do not apply during rain; protect for 4–5 hours after application.
• Allow 7 days for full reaction/cure before evaluating performance.
• Touch dry in 3 hours (at 50% RH).
