Formulated for both new construction and industrial applications, Pro Industrial™ DTM Acrylic Primer/Finish can be used as a primer under most water-based topcoats or alone as a primer/topcoat system. It can be used directly over multiple substrates.

Pro Industrial DTM Acrylic Primer-Finish is a high-performance, waterborne, single-component acrylic emulsion coating designed for both new construction and industrial maintenance applications. It functions as both a primer and a finish coat, offering corrosion resistance and early moisture resistance. It is suitable for interior and exterior use and can be applied directly to a variety of substrates including steel, galvanized metal, aluminum, concrete, masonry, and drywall.

This product can be used as a standalone primer-finish system or as part of a multi-layer coating system. When used in a system, it may be paired with the following:

This coating is ideal for use on properly prepared:

- Steel and galvanized steel

- Aluminum

- Concrete and masonry

- Concrete block (CMU)

- Drywall

- Previously painted surfaces (if sound and properly prepared)

- Application Methods: Airless spray, conventional spray, brush, or roller

- Recommended Film Thickness:

- Wet: 5.0–10.0 mils

- Dry: 1.9–3.9 mils

- Coverage: 160–328 sq. ft. per gallon depending on application thickness; theoretical coverage is 625 sq. ft. per gallon at 1 mil dry film thickness

- Pot Life: Not applicable (single-component)

- Dry Time at 6.0 mils wet, 50% RH:

- Touch: 40 minutes @ 77°F

- Tack-free: 4 hours @ 77°F

- Recoat: 4 hours @ 77°F

- Curing Time: Full cure time not explicitly stated, but recoat and handling times suggest fast cure characteristics

- Surface preparation is critical for performance; follow SSPC standards for cleaning and preparation.

- Not recommended for use immediately after rain or during foggy weather.

- Tinting is possible with up to 2 oz. per gallon using CCE colorants, but the product is not controlled for tint strength.

- Excellent performance in abrasion resistance, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and flexibility, as demonstrated by ASTM testing.

- Clean tools and equipment with soap and warm water immediately after use.
