Material Use:
ProMar® Acrylic Solvent Based Traffic Marking Paint is a fast-drying, 100% acrylic, solvent-based coating designed for traffic and pavement marking applications. It is formulated for use on cured asphalt, concrete, and brick surfaces, and is ideal for marking parking lots, curbs, runways, and roadways. This product is suitable for use by municipalities, schools, shopping centers, apartment communities, and pavement striping contractors.
System Components:
This is a single-component system that does not require a primer or topcoat. It is applied as a standalone coating in one coat at the specified thickness. It can be used in conjunction with glass beads for reflective markings, which are broadcast onto the wet paint surface.

Application Details:
- Application Method: Airless spray line striper or conventional spray. Brush and roller application are not recommended.
- Recommended Wet Film Thickness: 15.0 mils
- Recommended Dry Film Thickness: 7.0–7.2 mils
- Coverage: Approximately 320 lineal feet of a standard 4-inch stripe per gallon, or 107 sq. ft. per gallon. Theoretical coverage is 753–770 sq. ft. per gallon.

- Dry Time (at 77°F / 25°C, 50% RH):
- Dry-no-pickup: 10 minutes max
- Dry to touch: 10 minutes max

- Cleanup: Use acetone or compliant solvent immediately after use.
Special Notes:
- This product is not UV-rated but is intended for exterior use and offers good durability and dirt resistance.
- Not suitable for use on uncured asphalt or as a floor paint for large pedestrian areas due to potential slipperiness when wet.
- VOC Content:
- White: 148 g/L (1.23 lb/gal)
- Yellow: 114 g/L (0.95 lb/gal)
- Complies with VOC regulations in most regions, but not all (e.g., not compliant with SCAQMD or CARB SCM 2020).
- Shelf Life: 12 months unopened, stored between 40°F and 90°F.
- Flash Point: -3°F (PMCC), indicating high flammability—handle with care.
- Tinting: Only the white base may be tinted using exterior-grade colorants. Handicap Blue can be achieved by tinting white with 2–3 oz of blue colorant per gallon.
- Not recommended for use in high pedestrian traffic areas or for painting large surface areas due to slip hazard.
