It is ideal for sealing surface defects, grout lines, joints, fasteners, and penetrations, and is used to reinforce the primary waterproofing membrane in complex or vulnerable areas.

COLPHENE BARR FLASHING is typically used in conjunction with COLPHENE LM BARR or COLPHENE LM BARR SPRAY as part of a complete waterproofing system. In this system, COLPHENE BARR FLASHING is applied to critical areas to reinforce the primary membrane. No primer is required for application, but proper surface preparation is essential to ensure adhesion and performance.

Application Details:
- Surface Preparation: Substrates must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants such as dirt, oil, frost, and loose paint. Concrete must be cured for a minimum of 3 to 7 days depending on environmental conditions and concrete density.
- Application Temperature: Minimum application temperature is 2 °C (35 °F). The substrate must remain above the dew point to prevent condensation.
- Service Temperature Range: -40 °C to 93 °C (-40 °F to 200 °F).
- Thickness: Minimum application thickness is 2.3 mm (90 mil) to ensure waterproofing performance.
- Tack-Free Time: Approximately 60 minutes at 21 °C (70 °F) and 50% relative humidity. Drying time increases at lower temperatures or higher humidity.
- Pot Life: Not applicable as this is a single-component moisture-cure product.
