Poly-Caulk JF-75

Poly-Caulk JF-75 is a self-leveling, 100% solids, two-component aromatic polyurea joint filler, specifically formulated for horizontal concrete joints. It is characterized by its semi-rigid nature and high-performance physical properties, offering excellent durability and adhesion.

 Poly-Caulk JF-75 is designed to fill interior random cracks, control joints, and new construction joints in concrete floors. It accommodates 15–25% movement of the joint width and is ideal for settings such as cold storage facilities, food processing plants, light industrial areas, retail stores, polished concrete surfaces, airport terminals, and traffic loops.

 The product consists of two parts—Side A and Side B—which are mixed at a 1:1 ratio. It is available in a 600 ml dual cartridge or a 10-gallon bulk kit (5 gallons each of Side A and B). No additional primers or base coats are required; however, it must be applied to clean, freshly abraded, and vacuumed concrete joints to ensure optimal adhesion.

 This joint filler is best suited for indoor horizontal concrete surfaces where controlled movement and durable sealing are necessary. It should not be used on exterior joints or under non-breathable flooring systems due to its aromatic polyurea base, which is susceptible to UV discoloration (though physical performance is unaffected).

·         Coverage: Varies with joint size. For example, one gallon fills ~249 linear feet for ¼” x ¼” joints, while a 600 ml cartridge yields ~32 linear feet for the same dimension. These figures account for ~10% overfill waste.

·         UV Resistance: Not UV stable—discoloration may occur with exposure.

·         VOC Content: 0% (compliant with stringent indoor air standards).

·         Storage & Shelf Life: Store between 60°F and 95°F; shelf life is 1 year in unopened containers.

·         Limitations: Do not use in exterior settings or where thermal slab movement is expected. Not compatible with resilient or polymer flooring systems.

·         Safety Precautions: Use standard PPE including safety glasses with splash shields, cartridge respirators, gloves, and protective clothing. Avoid application near heat sources or open flame.
