SOPRASEAL QUICK CORNERS is a prefabricated, non-woven, reinforced polyester fabric designed specifically for use in conjunction with liquid-applied waterproofing membranes. It is used to reinforce the corners of openings in wall assemblies, providing additional durability and continuity in waterproofing systems.
System Components:
SOPRASEAL QUICK CORNERS is used as a reinforcement accessory in a system with the following liquid-applied waterproofing membranes:
- SOPRASEAL LM 204 VP
- SOPRASEAL LM 200 S
- SOPRASEAL LM 200 T
These membranes act as the primary waterproofing layer, while SOPRASEAL QUICK CORNERS provides structural reinforcement at vulnerable corner transitions.
Applications:
This product is intended for use in wall waterproofing systems, particularly at the corners of window and door openings or other penetrations where additional reinforcement is required. It is suitable for both commercial and residential construction projects where liquid-applied membranes are used.
Application Details:
To apply, first coat the corner area with the selected SOPRASEAL liquid-applied membrane. While the membrane is still wet, immediately embed the SOPRASEAL QUICK CORNERS fabric into the membrane, ensuring full saturation and impregnation of the fabric. This ensures a monolithic and reinforced waterproofing layer at critical junctions.
Special Notes:
- SOPRASEAL QUICK CORNERS must be protected from physical damage during transportation and installation.
- Store in a cool, dry place and protect from moisture.
- This product is not a standalone waterproofing solution and must be used in conjunction with compatible SOPRASEAL liquid-applied membranes.
- Each dispenser box contains 56 pre-cut corner pieces, each measuring 150 x 150 mm (6 x 6 inches).
