2-1 SOPRASMART ISO HD is a high-performance, factory-laminated base sheet panel designed for use in roofing systems. It combines a durable SBS-modified bitumen membrane with a high-density polyisocyanurate insulation board, making it ideal for waterproofing and thermal insulation in commercial and industrial flat roofing applications.
System Components:
This product is a composite system consisting of two primary components:
1. SBS-Modified Bitumen Membrane – Reinforced with non-woven polyester and surfaced with a thermofusible plastic film.
2. High-Density Polyisocyanurate Insulation Panel (SOPRA-ISO PLUS HD) – Provides thermal resistance and compressive strength.
The membrane features a DUO SELVEDGE edge, which includes a self-adhered section and a torch-applied section for secure lap sealing. End laps are reinforced with SOPRALAP membrane for added waterproofing integrity.

- Installation Methods:
- *Hot Bitumen:* Installed in a bed of SEBS or oxidized bitumen applied with a mop.
- *Adhesive:* Can be adhered using DUOTACK adhesives.
- *Mechanically Fastened:* Fastened to steel decks using SOPREMA screws and plates, following specific fastening patterns.
- Lap Sealing: Side laps feature a DUO SELVEDGE (self-adhered and torch-applied). End laps must be aligned and covered with SOPRALAP membrane.
- Panel Dimensions: Available in 0.914 x 2.44 m (3 x 8 ft) and 0.914 x 4.88 m (3 x 16 ft) sizes.
