CCS Bonder Liquid LWL

 CCS Bonder Liquid LWL is a Long Pot Life, Structural Epoxy Adhesive Bonding Agent. It is a two-component, low-exotherm structural epoxy formulated for structural bonding of fresh (plastic) concrete to hardened concrete, masonry, stone, steel, and wood. It is designed for horizontal surfaces and vertical, downward-oriented holes. The product is ideal for anchoring bolts, dowels, and rebar, repairing delaminated concrete, filling voids (with or without aggregate), and seismic reinforcement applications (e.g., K-bracing or bonding external steel reinforcement).

 This product is mixed at a 2:1 volume ratio (Part A resin: Part B hardener), forming a blue-gray epoxy. It can be extended with clean, dry aggregates for high-volume pours or used with compatible products like CCS Bonder Paste LWL to adjust viscosity and working time. It may also be used in combination with CCS Bonder Liquid SWL for faster curing at lower temperatures.

·         Bonding fresh concrete to hardened concrete (meets ACI 548.13-14).

·         Structural bonding of concrete, masonry, stone, steel, and wood.

·         Anchoring applications for dowels, bolts, and rebar.

·         Surface repairs and delamination fixes.

·         Epoxy mortar or grout when extended with aggregates.

·         Surface Preparation: Clean, dry or damp (no standing water); Concrete: ICRI CSP 2–4 profile; Steel: SSPC-SP 5/NACE No. 1 (white metal blast).

·         Mixing: Blend thoroughly using a low-speed mixer (2–3 minutes).

·         Installation: Apply with trowel, roller, or spray equipment. Bond lines: 15 mils (fresh-to-hardened concrete); 4 mils minimum for other bonds.

·         Aggregate Extension: 1 gal epoxy yields 231 in³ neat; up to 5 gal sand for mortar (approx. 1,100 in³ yield).

·         Pot Life (1 qt): 4.4 hr @ 50°F, 1.4 hr @ 73°F, 0.5 hr @ 105°F.

·         Open Time: 5 hr @ 50°F, 4 hr @ 73°F, 0.7 hr @ 105°F.

·         Cure Time (Hard Dry): 14 days @ 50°F, 7 days @ 73°F, 3 days @ 105°F.

·         Minimum Installation Temp: 50°F (10°C). For colder installs (to 40°F/4°C), use CCS Bonder Liquid SWL.

·         Heat Deflection Temp: 120°F (48.9°C). Service temp must be at least 20°F below HDT for sustained loads.

·         Not UV Stable — UV resistance is not specified, so exposure to sunlight may degrade performance or appearance.

·         VOC Content: 0 g/L — contains no VOCs.

·         Bond Strength: 900 psi dry / 1,350 psi damp (ASTM C882); Tensile Strength: 5,400 psi.

·         Shelf Life: 3 years (50–90°F, unopened).

·         Coverage: 1 gal yields 231 in³ neat; with aggregate, yields increase to 500–1,100 in³.

·         Packaging: Available in 3, 15, and 150-gallon kits.
