Description
A two-component, high-modulus epoxy paste adhesive designed specifically for grouting dowels, bolts, and rebar into concrete, masonry, and stone. It is optimized for use in low ambient temperatures or when a short working life and cure cycle are desired. It is also suitable for general bonding of hardened concrete, masonry, and stone, as well as for steel plate bonding in structural reinforcement applications.
This is a standalone system comprising Part A (white resin) and Part B (black hardener) in a 1:1 volume mix ratio. It does not require a primer. The components are visually distinctive for mix verification, and the mixed product appears as a blue-gray paste.
· Grouting of dowels, rebar, and bolts into horizontal or vertical holes
· Bonding of hardened concrete, masonry, and stone
· Steel plate bonding for external reinforcement
· High-load-bearing applications requiring resistance to creep and stress relaxation
· Mix Ratio: 1:1 by volume
· Application Method: Caulking gun (for grouting), trowel (for bonding)
· Pot Life: ~35 minutes for a 200g mix at 73°F
· Curing Schedule: 7 days at 73°F for full properties
· Minimum Installation Temperature: 40°F
· Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT): 140°F
· Maximum In-Service Temperature: 120°F (20°F below HDT) for structural applications
· Thickness: Non-sag up to 1/4 inch
· Substrates: Bonds to dry, damp, or wet (no free-standing water) concrete and masonry
· Surface Preparation: Follow ASTM D4259 or ACI 503R for concrete; SSPC SP 5 for steel
· Clean Up: Use acetone or epoxy stripper before curing
· VOC-free and environmentally safe
· Highly resistant to acids, bases, automotive and aircraft fluids, and cutting oils
· Shelf Life: Minimum of 3 years in unopened containers stored between 60–90°F
· No solvents should be added; thinning is not allowed
· Suitable for use at moderate and low temperatures with fast cure benefits
