Description

When top coated, Cement-Plex® 875 provides an excellent coating system for moderate service environments such as manufacturing facilities, schools and beverage plants. This product accepts both conventional and high performance topcoats.

Material Use:

Cement-Plex® 875 is a two-component, cementitious acrylic waterborne block filler designed for both interior and exterior use. It is formulated to fill voids and create a continuous substrate on concrete and masonry surfaces, preparing them for high-performance topcoats. This product is ideal for moderate service environments such as manufacturing facilities, schools, hospitals, prisons, and food and beverage plants. It is suitable for USDA-inspected facilities and is designed to accept a wide range of topcoats, including epoxies, polyurethanes, and acrylics.

System Components:

Cement-Plex® 875 is a two-part system consisting of:

- Part A: B42W00200 (Off White Base)

- Part B: B42V00201 (Hardener-Cement)

The product must be mixed in a 2-part premeasured 5-gallon mix. No tinting is allowed. The system is completed with 1–2 coats of an acceptable topcoat, depending on the substrate condition and desired finish.

Applications:

Cement-Plex® 875 is recommended for use on:

- Concrete and masonry wall surfaces

- Poured or precast concrete

- Concrete masonry units (CMU)

It is particularly suited for environments such as:

- Dry: 10.8–20.4 mils

- Coverage: 53–100 sq. ft. per gallon depending on surface porosity and application method. Theoretical coverage is 1090 sq. ft. per gallon at 1 mil dry film thickness.

- Pot Life:

- 55°F: 18 hours

- 77°F: 8 hours

- 100°F: 6 hours
