Description
Pro Industrial™ Acrylic is designed for interior and exterior industrial and commercial applications.
Material Use:
Pro Industrial Acrylic Semi-Gloss is a high-performance, single-component, 100% acrylic coating designed for both interior and exterior use in commercial and industrial environments. It is ideal for applications requiring chemical resistance, early moisture resistance, and flash rust protection. The product is suitable for use in USDA-inspected facilities and offers a smooth, semi-gloss finish with excellent flow and leveling properties.
System Components:
This coating system may include various primers and surface conditioners depending on the substrate. The Pro Industrial Acrylic Semi-Gloss serves as the topcoat in all systems. Recommended primers and base coats include:
- Steel: Pro Industrial Pro-Cryl Primer, DTM Primer/Finish, Kem Bond HS, or Zinc Clad Primer
- Aluminum: Pro Industrial Pro-Cryl Primer (optional)
- Concrete Block (CMU): Pro Industrial Heavy Duty Block Filler or Loxon Acrylic Block Surfacer
- Concrete/Masonry: Loxon Concrete & Masonry Primer or Loxon Conditioner
- Drywall: ProMar 200 Zero VOC Primer
- Pre-Finished Siding: Pro Industrial Bond-Plex Waterbased Acrylic or DTM Bonding Primer
- Wood (Exterior): Exterior Wood Primer
- Wood (Interior): Premium Wall & Wood Primer
Applications:
Pro Industrial Acrylic Semi-Gloss is suitable for a wide range of substrates including steel, galvanized metal, aluminum, drywall, concrete, masonry, plaster, and wood. It is commonly used in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and institutional settings where durability, chemical resistance, and aesthetic finish are required.

Special Notes:
- This product is not UV stable and may chalk or fade over time when exposed to direct sunlight; however, it is suitable for exterior use where UV resistance is not critical.
- For best performance on steel, a primer is strongly recommended to prevent pinpoint rusting.
- Deep and Ultradeep base colors require a primer for optimal adhesion and durability.
- Do not apply on wet surfaces or immediately after rain or during foggy conditions.
- Surface preparation is critical; all substrates must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Glossy surfaces should be dulled, and mildew must be removed prior to application.
- The product complies with major environmental regulations including LEED v4/v4.1, CARB, SCAQMD, and is EPD-NSF® certified.
- Shelf life is 36 months in unopened containers.
This material is best used as a topcoat in a multi-layer system tailored to the substrate, offering a durable, semi-gloss finish with excellent adhesion and resistance properties.
