Material Use:
SOPRA-CELLULOSE MESH is a spun-bonded polypropylene retaining membrane designed for use in wall assemblies to retain blown-in cellulose insulation. It is specifically used in conjunction with SOPRA-CELLULOSE insulation as part of an interior wall system. The mesh is installed on the warm (interior) side of the exterior wall framing to hold the insulation in place within each cavity.

Applications:
SOPRA-CELLULOSE MESH is intended for indoor applications only, specifically for use in residential and commercial wall assemblies where cellulose insulation is injected into wall cavities. It is suitable for both wood and metal stud framing.
Application Details:
The mesh is installed by unrolling it along the wall studs on the interior side of the wall. It can be applied vertically (longitudinally) or horizontally (transversely) depending on space constraints. The membrane should be stapled or screwed to the studs, starting from the top to ensure even tension. Overlaps of 150 mm (6 inches) between adjacent sheets are required. Fastening intervals should be approximately 76 to 100 mm (3 to 4 inches). Use staples for wood studs and self-drilling screws for metal studs.
