The dimpled core allows for water flow beneath the vegetative layer, while the geotextile fabric acts as a filter, preventing soil particles from clogging the drainage path. Application Details:
The drainage panels are unrolled directly onto the prepared surface, ensuring proper alignment and overlap of the geotextile fabric between adjacent panels to maintain continuous filtration and drainage. The product is lightweight and easy to handle, making installation efficient. Each roll measures 1.83 m x 20 m (6 ft x 65.5 ft), covering approximately 36.6 m² (393 ft²) per roll. The panel has a thickness of 8 mm (5/16 in) and a weight of 1 kg/m² (0.17 lb/ft²).

- Compressive Strength: The drainage core has a compressive strength of 250 kPa (5,200 psf), making it suitable for use under soil and paver loads in vegetative systems.
- Flow Capacity: The in-plane flow rate is 155 L/min•m (12.5 gal/min•ft), ensuring rapid drainage even under high water load conditions.
- Fabric Properties: The geotextile fabric has a water flow rate of 2850 L/min•m² (70 gal/min•ft²) and a grab tensile strength of 667 N (150 lbf), providing durability and resistance to mechanical damage during installation.
- Environmental Conditions: SOPRADRAIN ECO-5 is made of polypropylene, which is resistant to rot, mildew, and chemical degradation, making it suitable for long-term use in buried applications.
- UV Exposure: This product is not intended for prolonged UV exposure and should be covered with soil or pavers shortly after installation.
