SOPRAFLASH STICK DUO is a self-adhesive SBS-modified bitumen base sheet membrane designed for use in roofing and waterproofing systems. It is primarily used as a base flashing membrane in multi-layer roofing assemblies, offering excellent adhesion and waterproofing performance.

SOPRAFLASH STICK DUO is used in conjunction with ELASTOCOL STICK primers to ensure proper adhesion to the substrate. The membrane features DUO SELVEDGE technology, which facilitates immediate sealing of side laps. For end laps, ELASTOCOL STICK primer must be applied to the last 150 mm (6 in) of the membrane before overlapping with the next sheet. The final 25 mm (1 in) of the side lap must be heat-welded using an electric hot-air welder and membrane roller to ensure a watertight seal. This product is typically used as part of a multi-layer SBS-modified bitumen roofing system.

SOPRAFLASH STICK DUO is suitable for use in roofing applications, particularly for base flashing and detailing work in SBS-modified bitumen systems. It is ideal for use on clean, dry, and primed substrates in both new construction and roof repair projects.

- Installation Method: Self-adhesive with hot-air welding at side laps

- Underface: Self-adhesive with silicone release film

- Thickness: Minimum 2.5 mm (98 mils) before heat conditioning; 2.0 mm (80 mils) after heat conditioning

- Mass per Unit Area: Minimum 3.0 kg/m² (60 lb/100 ft²) before heat conditioning

- Low Temperature Flexibility: -30 °C (-22 °F)

- UV Resistance: Not UV stable; must be covered with a cap sheet or other protective layer

- Water Vapour Transmission: < 2.5 ng/Pa•s•m² (< 0.04 perm), indicating excellent vapor barrier properties

- Storage: Rolls must be stored upright with the selvedge side on top and protected from UV exposure if stored outdoors

- Compatibility: Must be used with ELASTOCOL STICK primer and is compatible with other SOPREMA SBS-modified bitumen membranes
