Product Description Themecoat® 758 is a two component, 1:1, 100% solids, low pressure system, fast set, liquid applied, modified polyurea spray system for protecting EPS, foam, fiberglass, and wood surfaces. It has an excellent balance of physical properties  to resist damage from high impact and low temperatures.

Themecoat 758 is a fast-set, 100% solids, two-component, low-pressure spray-applied modified polyurea coating. It is designed for protective applications over EPS foam, fiberglass, wood, and similar surfaces where impact, abrasion, and chemical resistance are important.

·       Side-A and Side-B: Mixed at a 1:1 ratio using a plural component, low-pressure spray system.

·       Compatible Topcoat: For UV stability and color retention, apply an aliphatic polyurethane or polyurea topcoat within 12 hours of Themecoat 758 application.

·       Compatible Repair Material: PC-260 (used for knot filling and patching wood substrates before coating).

·       Mixing Equipment: Recommended use of x24 element static spiral mixer for proper mixing.

·       Preconditioning: Both components must be preconditioned to 75-80°F (24-32°C) before spraying.

·       Surface Prep: All substrates must be free of oil, dust, rust, etc. Wood should be dry and repaired as needed; metals require appropriate blasting and priming.

·       Mixing: Do not dilute. Thorough mixing of Side-B before use is essential.

·       Spray Method: Low-pressure plural component system with static mixing. Requires both components to be pumped separately into the mixer tube.

·       Coverage: 1 mil thickness = 1 gallon per 1600 ft².

·       Typical Thickness: Not specified precisely; may vary depending on application needs but high-build capacity is supported.

·       Pot Life: 12–16 seconds

·       Tack Free Time: 40–60 seconds

·       Recoat Window: 6–12 hours

·       Cure Profile: Fast set, elastomeric cure

·       Temperature Limitations:

o   Dry Service: -20 to 250°F (-29 to 121°C)

o   Wet Service: 40 to 120°F (4.4 to 49°C)

·       UV Stability: Not UV stable. Will yellow and darken; must be topcoated for color retention.

·       Storage: 6 months shelf life in factory-sealed containers. Store off ground, indoors, and rotate drums periodically.

·       Limitations: Avoid freezing, keep closed with desiccants, do not open containers until use, not for outdoor storage.

·       Substrate Compatibility: Suitable with wood, EPS, fiberglass, aluminum, copper, galvanized metal, plastic foams, canvas/textiles, stainless steel, cast iron—with recommended surface prep and priming as appropriate. Adhesion tests are advised for uncertain substrates.
