Two Component Reflective Traffic Marker Bonding Agent

 TrafficGuard PM is a high-performance polyurea coating specifically designed for durable and fast-drying pavement markings on asphalt and concrete surfaces. It is particularly suited for centerlines, edge lines, symbols, legends, arrows, and crosswalks, delivering long-lasting and traffic-ready markings in under two minutes.

 TrafficGuard PM is a two-component system with a 2:1 mix ratio by volume:

·      Side A: Amine/Pigment

·      Side B: Isocyanate

 It is available in 5-gallon pails, 50-gallon drums, and 250-gallon totes. Standard colors include white and yellow, with custom colors available upon request.

 Ideal for:

·      Asphalt and concrete roadways

·      Bridge decks

·      Pavement legends and traffic symbols

 This material is especially beneficial in high-traffic areas requiring rapid re-opening and minimal disruption.

·      Surface Preparation: All substrates must be clean and free of curing compounds, sealers, oils, grease, and debris. Existing markings must be removed per state DOT guidelines.

·      Compatible Substrates: Can be installed over interim waterborne paint (≤12 mils) on asphalt but not recommended without eradication on concrete.

·      Thickness: Can be applied up to 60 mils without compromising performance.

·      Coverage:

o   At 20 mils:

§  4" line = 240 linear feet per gallon

§  6" line = 160 linear feet per gallon

o   At 25 mils:

§  4" line = 194 linear feet per gallon

§  6" line = 130 linear feet per gallon

·      UV Stability: UV resistant and color stable, even under extreme sunlight and heat.

·      Pot Life: Not explicitly stated, but system delivers a “track-free” time of < 2 minutes, indicating extremely rapid cure.

·      Cure Times: Track-free in under 2 minutes; full cure time not stated but designed for quick return to service.

·      Temperature Requirements: Store and apply within 60°F - 80°F (16°C - 27°C).
