ConFlex SherLastic is a 100% acrylic elastomeric coating designed for vertical masonry substrates including tilt-up, precast, or poured-in-place concrete, CMU, and stucco. It provides a flexible, durable, and weather-resistant film that protects against wind-driven rain and helps reduce water intrusion. It is not for use on horizontal or overhead horizontal surfaces, or below grade.

For optimal performance, SherLastic is used in conjunction with the following compatible components:

• Primers:
• Loxon Concrete & Masonry Primer: Required for bare surfaces or when pH is above 9.
• Loxon Acrylic Block Surfacer or ConFlex Block Filler: For CMU and porous block surfaces.
• Loxon Conditioner: For previously painted, chalky, or aged surfaces.
• Patch/Sealant:
• Elastomeric patch or sealant for cracks and voids.
• Topcoat:
• 1–2 coats of ConFlex SherLastic depending on substrate porosity and waterproofing requirements.

• New Construction: Concrete, Stucco, CMU, Block, Split-face Block
• Previously Painted Surfaces: After appropriate surface prep and conditioning
• Above-grade vertical surfaces only

Application Methods:

• Brush, roller, or airless spray
• Suggested tip size for spray: 0.021"
• Recommended roller nap: ½" to 1½" synthetic

Film Thickness:

• 2-coat system (brush/roller/spray):
• Wet: 11.0–15.0 mils | Dry: 4.3–5.8 mils per coat
• Coverage: 107–145 sq. ft./gal per coat
• 1-coat spray-only system:
• Wet: 22.0–30.0 mils | Dry: 8.6–11.7 mils
• Coverage: 53–72 sq. ft./gal
• Max application: Up to 30 mils wet in a single coat
• Total required dry film thickness for waterproofing: 8–12 mils

Coverage & Yield:

• Coverage varies depending on texture and porosity.
• Minimum of 10 or fewer pinholes per square foot required for waterproofing.

Drying Time @ 77°F / 50% RH:

• Touch: 4 hours
• Recoat: 24 hours
• Cure dependent on temp, humidity, and film thickness

Pot Life: Not applicable for this ready-to-use acrylic coating.

Environmental Conditions:

• Temperature range: Apply between 50°F – 100°F
• Humidity consideration: Drying time increases with humidity; ensure overnight drying between coats for best results.

UV Stability:

• Not explicitly labeled as UV stable; however, designed for exterior exposure with resistance to weathering.

• Mildew-Resistant: Contains biocides to inhibit mildew on the surface.
• Shelf Life: 36 months (unopened)
• VOC Content: < 50 g/L (0.42 lbs/gal) – Compliant with multiple regional and environmental standards (CARB, OTC, LEED v4 VOC, MPI)

Important Limitations:

• Not suitable for use on:
• Horizontal walking surfaces
• Overhead horizontal areas (e.g., soffits, balcony undersides)
• Below-grade applications
• Does not withstand hydrostatic pressure.
• Surfaces must be fully cured or appropriately primed if not cured for 30 days.

Cleanup:

• Clean tools and spills immediately with soap and water.
• Flush spray equipment with compliant solvent to prevent rust.
