Description
Dry Fallout Spray Eg-Shel is a fast drying alkyd white paint for interior use. Overspray dries to a removable dust within eight feet at 77°F (25°C) and 50% relative humidity.

Dry Fallout Spray Alkyd-Eg-Shel is a fast-drying, interior-use alkyd-based coating designed for high-reflectance white finishes in industrial, commercial, and institutional environments. It is specifically formulated to dry quickly in the air and fall as a dry dust within an 8-foot radius, allowing for easy cleanup of overspray. This makes it ideal for large-scale spray applications where overspray control is critical.
System Components:
This material is used as a topcoat in a multi-component system, with the primer selected based on the substrate. It is not intended to be used as a standalone coating on bare surfaces. The system typically includes:

Applications:
Dry Fallout Spray Alkyd-Eg-Shel is suitable for use on properly prepared structural steel, galvanized metal, drywall, plaster, concrete, masonry, and wood. It is recommended for use in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, gymnasiums, textile mills, and other industrial or commercial interiors where high light reflectance and easy overspray cleanup are desired.

- Application Method: Airless or conventional spray only. Brush and roller application are not recommended.
- Airless Spray Settings: 2000 psi, 1/4" hose, 0.017–0.019" tip, 60 mesh filter
- Conventional Spray Settings: Binks 95 gun, 63C fluid nozzle, 63PB air nozzle, 60 psi atomization pressure, 50 psi fluid pressure
- Film Thickness: 6.0–10.0 wet mils (2.9–4.8 dry mils)
- Coverage: 160–265 sq. ft. per gallon per coat; theoretical coverage is 769 sq. ft. per gallon at 1 mil dry
- Dry Time @ 77°F (25°C), 50% RH, 6.0 wet mils:
- To touch: 15 minutes
- To recoat: 18 hours
- Full cure: 3 days
- Dry fallout distance: 8 feet

- Concrete, Masonry, Plaster: 1 coat Loxon Concrete & Masonry Primer
- Drywall: 1 coat ProMar 200 Zero VOC Primer
- Wood (Interior): 1 coat Premium Wall & Wood Primer
Special Notes:
- This product is for interior use only and is not UV stable.
- Do not tint this product.
- Overspray may adhere to hot surfaces; remove immediately to prevent bonding.
- Not compliant with SCAQMD, CARB SCM 2007/2020, or LEED v4 VOC/emissions standards.
- Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with a compliant solvent.
- Rags and waste soaked with this product may spontaneously combust; dispose of properly in a sealed, water-filled metal container.
- Surface preparation is critical for performance. All surfaces must be clean, dry, and properly primed.
- Not suitable for brush or roller application due to its dry fall characteristics.
This material is best used as part of a spray-applied interior coating system where overspray control and high reflectance are priorities. It is ideal for large open spaces with high ceilings and minimal surface contact, such as warehouses and gymnasiums.
