Pro Industrial™ Alkyd Dryfall is a modified alkyd, intense white paint for interior use. Overspray dries to a removable dust within eight feet @ 77°F (25°C) and 50% relative humidity.

Pro Industrial™ Alkyd Dryfall Flat is a high-performance, modified alkyd-based flat paint designed for interior use in commercial, industrial, and institutional environments. It is specifically formulated for spray application on overhead surfaces where overspray is a concern. The unique dryfall characteristic allows overspray to dry into a dust within approximately 8 feet of application, making cleanup easy and efficient.

This product is typically used as a topcoat in a multi-layer coating system. It must be applied over a compatible primer appropriate to the substrate. The system may include:

This coating is ideal for use in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, gymnasiums, textile mills, parking garage ceilings (not exposed to direct weathering), and other large-scale interior spaces where high light reflectance and easy overspray cleanup are desired. It is suitable for application on structural steel, galvanized metal, drywall, plaster, concrete, masonry, and wood.

- Application Method: Airless spray only (brush and roller not recommended)

- Wet: 8.0–12.0 mils

- Drying Times at 8.0 mils wet (50% RH):

- 55°F: Touch – 40 min, Recoat – 6 hrs, Cure – 9 days

- 77°F: Touch – 10 min, Recoat – 4 hrs, Cure – 7 days

- 100°F: Touch – 3 min, Recoat – 2 hrs, Cure – 1 day

- Dryfall Distance: 8 feet at 77°F and 50% RH (may increase to 16 ft at lower temperatures)

- Pot Life: Not applicable (single-component product)

- Full Cure Time: Up to 9 days depending on temperature

- Temperature Range for Application:

- Minimum: 50°F (10°C)

- Maximum: 100°F (37°C)

- Must be at least 5°F above dew point

- This product is for interior use only and is not UV stable.

- Overspray may adhere to hot surfaces; remove immediately to prevent bonding.

- Tinting is possible with BAC colorants (white base only), up to 2 oz per gallon. Tinting may affect dryfall performance.

- Not compliant with all environmental regulations (e.g., SCAQMD, LEED v4 emissions).

- Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with a compliant solvent.

- Rags and waste soaked with this product may spontaneously combust; dispose of properly in a sealed, water-filled metal container.

- Surface preparation is critical for performance. Follow SSPC standards for cleaning and priming based on substrate type.

- Not recommended for use on exterior surfaces or where direct weather exposure is expected.
