With the performance and coating characteristics of a traditional oil-based enamel, Pro Industrial™ Waterbased Alkyd Urethane Enamel brings together the convenience and ease of use of a waterborne coating. It provides beauty and durability when applied to interior/exterior surfaces such as properly prepared drywall, wood, masonry, and metal.

Material Use:

Pro Industrial Waterbased Alkyd Urethane Enamel is a premium-quality, low-sheen interior and exterior enamel designed for high-performance applications. It combines the ease of waterborne application with the durability and performance of traditional oil-based enamels. This product is ideal for use on properly prepared drywall, wood, masonry, concrete, and metal surfaces, offering excellent washability, flow, leveling, and resistance to yellowing. It is suitable for use in USDA-inspected facilities.

System Components:

This coating system typically includes a primer appropriate to the substrate, followed by two coats of Pro Industrial Waterbased Alkyd Urethane Enamel. The system components vary depending on the substrate:

Applications:

This product is suitable for commercial, institutional, and industrial environments where a durable, washable, and aesthetically pleasing finish is required. It is commonly used on doors, trim, walls, and structural steel in both interior and exterior settings.

Application Details:

- Recommended Dry Film Thickness (DFT): 1.2–1.6 mils

Special Notes:

- Not LEED v4 Emissions certified, but LEED v4 VOC compliant.

- Excellent resistance to yellowing, block resistance, and dry heat resistance up to 200°F.

- Surface preparation is critical for performance. All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Glossy surfaces should be dulled, and previously painted surfaces should be tested for adhesion.

- Do not apply immediately after rain or during foggy weather.

- For mildew-prone areas, clean thoroughly with a mildew remover before application.

- Shelf life is 36 months unopened.

- Certified under MPI #167 and #168.

- Not recommended for immersion service or continuous water exposure.

- Dispose of rags and waste materials properly to prevent spontaneous combustion.
