Formulated for interior and exterior use, Pro Industrial™ Multi-Surface Acrylic can be applied on marginally prepared metal or masonry surfaces. Features multiple sheens, fast dry, easy application and dry fall properties.
Material Use:
Pro Industrial Multi-Surface Acrylic Gloss is a high-performance, waterborne acrylic coating designed for both interior and exterior applications. It is formulated for use on marginally prepared metal, masonry, and other common construction substrates. This product is ideal for commercial and light industrial environments where durability, fast drying, and ease of application are essential.
System Components:
This coating system may be used as a standalone finish or as part of a multi-layer system with appropriate primers and fillers depending on the substrate. It is self-priming on many surfaces but performs best when used with the following system components:

Application Details:
- Application Methods: Airless spray, conventional spray, brush, or roller.
- Recommended Film Thickness:
- Wet: 3.75–6.0 mils
- Dry: 1.5–2.3 mils
- Coverage: 272–417 sq. ft. per gallon per coat (theoretical coverage at 1 mil dry is 626 sq. ft./gal)
- Pot Life: Not applicable (single-component water-based product)
- Drying Times at 5.0 mils wet, 50% RH:
- Touch: 15 min to 1 hour (depending on temperature)
- Handle: 30 min to 2 hours
- Recoat: 1 to 4 hours
- Dryfall: 10–15 feet
- Curing Time: Fast-drying; full cure typically within 24 hours under normal conditions
- Temperature Range for Application: 40°F (4.4°C) to 100°F (37.7°C); must be at least 5°F above dew point
- Humidity Limit: Maximum 85% RH
- UV Resistance: Good exterior color and gloss retention; suitable for exterior use
- VOC Content: <50 g/L (0.42 lbs/gal), LEED v4 & v4.1 compliant
- Shelf Life: 24 months unopened
Special Notes:
- This product is optimized for spray application and features dry-fall properties, making it ideal for overhead applications in commercial and industrial settings.
- It is USDA-compliant for use in inspected facilities.
- For best performance, especially on steel and aluminum, the use of a primer is recommended even though the product is self-priming.
- Surface preparation is critical for adhesion and longevity. All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Glossy surfaces should be dulled, and previously painted surfaces should be tested for adhesion.
- Not recommended for use on wet surfaces or immediately after rain or in foggy conditions.
- Overspray may adhere to hot surfaces; clean immediately to prevent permanent bonding.
- The product is abrasion-resistant and has excellent adhesion and flexibility, making it suitable for high-traffic or high-abuse areas.
